Faculty Share Expertise at Annual AALS Meeting

The 2022 Association of American Law Schools (AALS) Annual Meeting featured faculty members from Brooklyn Law School who presented at and moderated sessions during the virtual conference, held Jan. 5-9.  

The theme of this year’s meeting, which drew faculty, deans, and administrators from around the country, was Freedom, Equality, and the Common Good.  

Faculty from the Law School shared their expertise and discussed the latest developments in their respective areas of focus in legal education at sessions throughout the four-day meeting.

This year’s participants from Brooklyn Law School included: 

Professor Miriam H. Baer: Discussant, A Very Online Economy: Meme Trading, Bitcoin, and the Crisis of Trust and Value(s)—How Should the Law Respond? 

Professor Steven A. Dean: Speaker, The Promise and Pitfalls of the Global Tax Deal 

Professor Cynthia Godsoe: Speaker, Teaching Methods, Centering on Race and Class in Family Law; Moderator, Criminal Justice Section Networking Section
