New Full-Tuition LL.M. Scholarship Announced

As New York City begins the careful but optimistic process of reopening, Brooklyn Law School is also taking steps to help our community continue to move forward safely. We realize that for many international legal professionals interested in getting their LL.M., the past few years have been full of uncertainty and delays. To encourage more prospective students to take the next step towards building their careers, the Law School has developed a new fellowship for the 2022-2023 academic year.

Brooklyn Law School will offer one full-tuition scholarship with a customized fellowship research opportunity. While pursuing an LL.M., the fellowship recipient will conduct independent research overseen by a Brooklyn Law School professor and, by graduation, complete an academic paper on their selected topic. The LL.M. program facilitates specialized study in a wide range of practices areas, including business law, intellectual property law, and refugee and immigration law. We can also accommodate tailored study plans for those students who wish to specialize in other areas of the law.

Interested prospective students must apply to Brooklyn Law School's program before April 30, 2022. Applicants must indicate in their personal statements that they would like to be considered for this opportunity and include 1-2 paragraphs about a proposed research topic. Other scholarships are available.

“LL.M. students are a vital part of the Brooklyn Law School community,” said Cecilia Caldeira, Director of International Programs. “We hope this unique fellowship inspires prospective students to pursue their degree and explore new career opportunities.”
