10.27.15 David Liederman ‘75, of David’s Cookies Fame, Innovates in the Kitchen Again
    David Liederman '75

After making a name for himself from his famous chocolate chunk cookies, David Liederman ’75 is back in the kitchen—and the news. This time, the innovative chef has taken his genius to the trash. According to a recent story in The New York Times, Liederman asked a contractor to cut a hole in his butcher block island, so that scraps can be quickly disposed below without making multiple trips to the garbage can. The idea has become so popular among Liederman’s friends that some have even started building their own “David Holes” in their kitchens.
