Biography
Ms. Stephen joined the Career Development Center in September 2008 following five and a half years with the Office of Career Services at the Hofstra University School of Law. At both law schools, Ms. Stephen has been responsible for promoting judicial internships, post-graduate judicial clerkships and diversity opportunities. Ms. Stephen received her J.D. from Hofstra where she was an associate editor for the Hofstra Labor Law Journal. Following graduation, she was a litigation associate for six years at Kaye Scholer LLP, where she served on the Diversity and Legal Personnel committees. Among her leadership roles, Ms. Stephen is a past chair of the Law Student Perspectives Committee of the New York City Bar Association and a current member of the Association’s Committee on the Recruitment and Retention of Lawyers as well as its New Lawyers Institute Committee. Ms. Stephen has served as a panelist for a number of NALP and New York City Bar Association programs and has written articles for the NALP bulletin.
