    09.23.15 David Fraiden ’01 Gets Jets Fans Fired Up

    Brooklyn Law School graduates are known for their ability to successfully juggle multiple responsibilities—and make it look effortless. But David Fraiden ’01, accomplishes that while also riding a unicycle. Fraiden, a taxi violation hearing officer in Long Island City, has a side career as JuggleStar: a fire-breathing, bowling pin juggler on one wheel who entertains thousands of New York Jets fans at home games in MetLife Stadium.

    “Performing at the stadium for the 82,500 fans means the world to me because I can add to fans’ game-day expedience in a positive way” Fraiden told the New York Daily News.

    Fraiden said that while his two careers would seem to require vastly different skill sets, juggling in front of thousands of raucous football fans has helped in his role as a hearing officer.    

    ”Juggling will train the brain to act quicker. It’s one of the only activities that has been medically proven to increase brain mass after adolescence,” Fraiden said.
